Kensington Manor, Overland Park Homes for Sale
The Kensington Manor community is a development of around 450 two story-style homes located off Switzer Road between 119th Street and 127th Street. The neighborhood is well-kept, with landscaped lawns and lots of flowers.
Homes are four or five bedrooms, with average sized lots, two car garages, and some have custom add-ons from backyard pools to bonus rooms. They range in size from about 2,200 to 4,100 finished square feet of living space and are priced anywhere from the high $300,000s to the high $500,000s. Most were built between 1984 and 1993, and many have been updated with new kitchen appliances, fresh paint, and new mechanicals. The development is well established.
There is a community pool with walking trails, large playground, and tennis courts to entertain residents. Kids will attend Oak Hill Elementary School and Oxford Middle School which are located directly next to the community within walking distance on Switzer Road, and Blue Valley Northwest High School.
The biggest draw to this community is the quiet location with many outdoor trails and the proximity to highways and main shopping areas like Corbin Crossing, Town Center, and Oak Park Mall a few miles to the north.
