One of the largest and most well-known communities in Overland Park is Nall Hills. Located between Metcalf and Nall Avenues, north of 105th Street and south of 95th Street, this neighborhood includes over 1,200 homes and takes up nearly an entire city block, with the earliest home being built in the late 1930s and construction continuing until the late 1970s. With that long of a building period, it’s safe to say there is an extensive mix of home styles and designs here.

Many parents and students enjoy the Nall Hills location because all of the schools are located within, or just on the border of, the community, making getting to and from school fast.

There are many nearby outdoor recreational spaces surrounding Nall Hills. To the west are James Place Park and Pinehurst East Park, both connected to the community through the Indian Creek Bike and Hike Trail. That same trail also extends east to Nall Park and Roe Park, which offers lighted tennis courts, large playground and splash pad, fitness equipment, and several play fields.  A little further west, less than a mile away, is Brookridge Golf and Fitness Center, an upscale golf course and workout center with dining room and pool.

At the northeast end of the neighborhood is Meadowbrook Park, an 80 acre park with mature trees, outdoor senior fitness area, shelters, paved walking trails, pickleball courts, stocked fish ponds, and a large playground with upscale equipment.
