South Overland Park New Construction Homes
Southpointe is a new home community in Overland Park that is being developed by Summit Homes, a local company with a reputation for craftsmanship since 2002.
Started in 2019, Southpointe has aimed to provide inexpensive housing in south Overland Park where affordable housing options can be hard to find. Homes in Southpointe range from affordable to luxury and have all the latest upgrades.
There are over 7 floor plans to choose from, with mostly 2 story and single story layouts available. The smallest is the Cobalt, with 1,264 square feet of living space and 2 bedrooms, and the largest is the 7 bedroom Sydney floor plan, with over 4,500 square feet of space.
Prices start at $369,000 and range up to $800,000 depending on the size and options chosen. Vaulted ceilings, upgraded lighting, hardwood floors, and stone countertops are just of few of the luxury features of these beautiful houses.
The community offers a competition-size pool with lap lanes and covered seating available. It has a children’s pool and a slide at the back of the pool. There is a large clubhouse complex with lots of windows, a picnic area with grills for get-togethers, and a large playground.
Located at Pflumm Road and 189th Street, the Southpointe neighborhood is only minutes away from Wolf Creek Golf Course, Heritage Park, and the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Less than ten minutes away are fine dining and diverse shopping opportunities in Overland Park and Olathe. AdventHealth South Overland Park Hospital is located a few miles north on Antioch Road. Schools include Timber Sage Elementary School, Woodland Spring Middle School, and Spring Hill High School.
